BB Glow

BB Glow is a skin treatment that combines microneedling with a tinted serum to give the skin an even, luminous tone. The result is a natural-looking coverage that sits within the upper layers of the skin, softening the appearance of uneven pigmentation, redness, and fine lines while delivering active ingredients that improve overall skin health.

Unlike traditional foundation, BB Glow works with your skin rather than sitting on top of it. Results typically last anywhere from four to eight weeks, gradually fading as the skin naturally renews itself.

Your appointment begins with a skin assessment to determine the most suitable serum shade and formula for your complexion. A numbing cream is then applied to keep you comfortable throughout the treatment.

The microneedling device is used to gently drive the tinted serum into the upper layers of the skin. Most clients find the process comfortable, with a mild buzzing sensation. Depending on the areas treated, your appointment will typically take between 60 and 90 minutes.

Skin will appear slightly flushed immediately after treatment, similar to a mild sunburn, which generally subsides within 24 hours. Results are visible straight away, with skin looking more even and radiant. A course of treatments is recommended to build and extend results over time.

Come to your appointment with a clean face, free of makeup. Avoid using exfoliants, retinols, or active skincare ingredients for at least 48 hours beforehand, as these can increase skin sensitivity. Sun-damaged or actively irritated skin may not be suitable for treatment, so let us know if you've had recent sun exposure or have any active breakouts.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior, and where possible, arrive well-hydrated. It makes a genuine difference to how the skin responds.

Keep the skin clean and avoid touching the face unnecessarily for the first 24 hours. Skip makeup, active skincare products, and anything with fragrance for at least 48 hours post-treatment. Some redness and mild sensitivity are completely normal and will settle quickly.

For the first week, avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools. Apply SPF daily, as this is especially important while the skin is in recovery and helps preserve your results.

Results build with a course of treatments, typically spaced two to four weeks apart. Your therapist will recommend a treatment plan based on your skin goals and how your skin responds after the first session.
